EVOC’S HISTORY
We discovered fantastic places & found some amazing downhill runs. But what we couldn’t find was equipment that met our needs. So, we began to develop & produce this equipment according to our personal preferences: top-quality, sophisticated products with useful features.
MATERIALS
We carefully select materials for our products or tailor them to our exact specifications. We make sure that all of our products are lightweight & made of the best possible materials to ensure the utmost functionality & quality.
The best backpacks & bags are durable, abrasion-resistant, lightweight, & waterproof (or water-resistant). We use various types of fabrics with different weaves & thicknesses that optimally support the specific function of each product. Our materials are finished with high-quality coatings that extend their lifespan & enhance the quality of our products. The coatings used on our lightweight outer materials provide protection from dirt & stains & prevent moisture from penetrating.
An important pillar in reducing our environmental footprint is the use of sustainable materials. We work with innovative suppliers worldwide to find materials that meet our high-quality standards while being resource-efficient & environmentally friendly. In addition to textiles made from S.Café® yarn, we use a finish with S.Café® technology on other fabrics to neutralize odours. Coffee grounds have microscopic pores that absorb odours in a chemical-free, long-lasting way. An extract from used coffee grounds, obtained through a patented process, is used in textiles for its natural odour-absorbing ability.
By linings we mean our lining & inner materials that are used in our bags & backpacks. We vary these, too, according to the intended use for the bag or backpack, & ensure they are colour coordinated so that the design experience can continue to be appreciated once they are opened up.
For our products, we only use premium accessories that support their function and add design value. If we cannot find the right accessories for our equipment, we simply develop them ourselves in order to optimally satisfy our expectations.
Liteshield Back Protector: Originally used in motorcycling, this segmented EPS layer provides maximum shock absorption with minimal weight & is temperature insensitive.
Liteshield Plus Back Protector: This innovative design is extremely light, flexible, & non-temperature-sensitive. Its 2-component sandwich construction of highly-compressed EPP foam offers excellent impact protection, adapting to every movement with plus-shaped segments.
Liteshield Flex Protector Technology: Combines outstanding impact absorption with ergonomic flexibility. Made of highly flexible thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) by injection moulding, it ensures maximum freedom of movement & protection in a lightweight, well-ventilated, & temperature-stable design.
